Isaacs' Home Recipes Main Sidedish Recipes Cheese Potatoes
6 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced 3 Tbsp butter or margarine 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1 cup milk 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese In a large skillet over medium heat, saute potatoes in butter until almost tender and lightly browned. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add milk; simmer, uncovered, until milk is absorbed. Top with cheese; heat until melted.
