Parmesan Chicken


1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1 1/2 tsp dried oregano, divided
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 egg
1 Tbsp water
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (we use chicken breast tenders)
2 Tbsp olive oil/veg oi.
1 jar meatless spaghetti sauce
1/2 tsp garlic salt
shredded mozzarella cheese
Hot cooked pasta

In a bowl, combine the bread crumbs, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, 1 tsp oregano, 
basil, salt and pepper.
In a bowl, combine the egg and water.
Dip chicken in egg mixture, then coat with crumb mixture.
In a skillet, cook chicken in oil on both sides until juices run clear.
Meanwhile, combine the spaghetti sauce, garlic salt and remaining oregano in a 
saucepan; heat through.
Spoon over chicken;  Sprinkle with mozzarella and remaining Parmesan.
Serve with pasta
