Beef and Tomato Pie


1 pound ground beef
minced onion
2 Tbsp ketchup
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup canned diced tomato with oregano
shredded cheddar cheese
(try adding some tomato sauce)
9" regular pie crust

In a skillet over medium heat, cook beef and minced onion until meat is no longer pink; drain.
Remove from heat.
Stir in ketchup and salt.
Spoon meat mixture into crust.
Sprinkle with tomatoes.
Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Sprinkle with cheese; bake 2 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
