BBQ Chicken Burgers


2 tbsp, fat-free, reduced-sodium chicken broth
3/4 cup diced onions
1 tsp minced garlic
14 oz. ground chicken breast
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp ground thyme
3/4 cup whole-wheat bread crumbs
Whole-wheat 2-oz. hamburger buns

Heat chicken broth in a small skillet over medium heat.
Add onions and saute 5-10 minutes.
Add garlic and cook 5 minutes more.
Set aside and cool, then combine with the remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Form four patties and cook in a nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat until burgers are no longer pink - about 5 minutes per side.
Serve on a bun with fat-free condiments like mustard and ketchup.
