Zucchini Cookies

2-1/4 cups sugar
3/4 cup butter
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
3 cups grated zucchini
4 cups flour
1-1/2 tsp baking soda
2 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp allspice
powdered sugar

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and beat until fluffy.
Sift flour, soda, baking powder, salt and spices and mix into creamed mixture.
Add vanilla and zucchini.
Mix well.
Drop by rounded tsp on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Dust with powdered sugar.
