Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup shortening
1 cup Jiff Peanut Butter
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 11 oz. package kisses

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 
Cream together sugar, brown sugar, shortening and Jiff. 
Add eggs, milk and vanilla.; beat well.
Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; add to Jiff mixture.  Beat well.
Shape into 1 inch balls; roll in additional sugar.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake in 375 degree oven for 8 minutes.
Remove from oven and press a milk chocolate candy into the center of each warm cookie.
Return to oven and bake 2 to 3 more minutes.
