Cherry Cobbler


1/2 stick margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
1/2 cup milk
2 cups tart cherries
1/2 cup additional sugar

Cream margarine and sugar and mix with flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
Put in greased pan and add cherries.
Put on additional sugar and 1/2 cup boiling water.
Bake 375 degrees until golden brown.
