Applesauce Cake

2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp allspice
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups applesauce
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs

Blend 1/2 minute on low speed.
Beat 3 minutes on high speed, scraping occasionally.
Bake cupcakes 25-30 minutes, or 13x9 cake pan at 350 degrees
