Breakfast Cheesecake


2 cans crescent rolls (8 ounces each)
2 packages cream cheese (8 ounces each)
1 cup sugar
1 large egg - separated
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup sugar
cinnamon - optional

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Spread one roll of crescent rolls to cover the bottom of an ungreased 13x9x2" pan.
Beat together cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, vanilla and egg yolk in a bowl until well blended.
Spread cream cheese mixture over crescent rolls in the pan.
Spread the second roll of crescent rolls over the cream cheese mixture.
Brush the egg white over the top layer of crescent rolls.
Mix the 1/4 cup sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle on top of the crescent rolls.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Allow to cool after baking for the cream cheese mixture to set.
