Surprise Banana Muffins

1 package (14 ounces) banana quick bread and muffin mix
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
12 miniature peanut butter cups

Prepare banana bread batter according to package directions, using milk, oil and eggs.
Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full.
Place a peanut butter cup in the center of each; spoon remaining batter over top.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into muffin comes out clean.
Cool 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack.

Yield:  1 dozen
