Frosted Pumpkin Muffins


1 package (16 ounces) pound cake mix
2 eggs
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/3 cup water
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp baking soda
1 can (16 ounces) cream cheese frosting

In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, pumpkin, water, pumpkin pie spice and baking soda.
Beat on medium speed for 3 minutes.
Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups 2/3 full.
Fake at 350 degrees for 18-22 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.
Frost cooled muffins.
Store in the refrigerator.

Yield:  1-1/2 dozen
